Theme for 2026: Making Research Matter - Trauma-informed ways of working together

Time: 9.30am - 4.15pm, followed by a reception for those able to stay between 4.15-5.30pm

Venue: Engineer's House, Clifton, Bristol

People in Health West of England are excited to launch a new regional conference that aims to support, celebrate, and promote ways that researchers and health professionals can work together with communities to make health and care research better.

The South West Co-Production in Health Research Conference 2026 will bring together community members, practitioners, public contributors, charities, researchers, clinicians and organisations who want to change how health and care research is designed, carried out, and shared.

The programme will use creative methods to highlight innovative partnerships, trauma-informed ways of working, and participatory approaches that make research more accessible, relevant, and useful for the people it is meant to benefit.

Registration fees:

• Professionals, in-person: £100 (by which we mean someone who is contracted to, or a slaried employee of, an institution or organisation)
• Members of the public, in-person: £50
• Students (undergraduate or postgraduate), in-person: £50
• Online attendance: £50 (please note only the main programme will be available to online attendees, lunch and the Engagement Hub are in-person only)

Refund policy:

A partial refund (50%) will be offered for bookings cancelled on or before the 14th October 2026. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded.

The information provided in your booking will be shared with members of the organising committee. Data on dietary and access requirements, including car registration for parking, will be shared with the venue.
