Deconstructing the Female Pelvis - from Anatomy to Performance (04.09.2026)

This unique event, hosted by Bristol Anatomy and led by our expert faculty, will take you from authentic donor tissue in our Vesalius Clinical Training Lab to dynamic anatomy visualised through pelvic ultrasound and EMG.  Convened by Dr Suzanne Scott, Lecturer in Anatomy and Movement, the day includes presentations from keynote speaker Grainne Donnelly, Advanced Practice Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, and a ten strong expert panel, who will contribute clinical, practitioner and research focussed insights from their respective fields of female athlete performance, nutritional physiology and anatomy.

As this event includes a laboratory session with human tissue, to ensure compliance with HTA (Human Tissue Act) regulation, booking requires information about your professional body, current registration details and a statement on scope of practice.  The event is aimed at professionals (Level 7 postgraduate) working in female health and related fields of practice, such as clinical sports medicine, exercise and sports performance, obstetric and uro-gynaecological physioterhapy and allied healthcare practitioners active in these fields.
