University of Bristol REDs Awards 2026

Awards, inspiration and a few unforgettable moments.  Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the sporting achievements of our students at the REDs Awards Ceremony 2026.
 
The Bristol RED is one of the most prestigious sporting awards conferred by the University along with the Director's Award and the Inclusivity and Wellbeing Award.  Eligible students will have given outstanding performances on and off the pitch in their respective sports.  Their achievements will place them at the pinnacle of their sport during their time at university.  Previous winners have gone on to achieve national and international recognition, winning World Championships and Olympic gold medals.
We are excited to welcome Sabrina Pace-Humphreys, a prominent international figure in the running world, author, activist, ultra runner as well as Women’s Running contributor and co-founder of Black Trail Runners and Black to The Trails, the most diverse trail running event in Europe as our special guest speaker.  Hear directly from Sabrina as she shares insights, perspectives and exciting plans for 2026.

The award ceremony will be held in The Orangery at Goldney Gardens, doors open from 5 pm and guests will enjoy arrival drinks and canapés on the lawn, before the formal award presentation takes place.

Event schedule

• 5 pm for 5.30 pm for arrival drinks and canapés
• 6.30 – 8.30pm awards presentation and guest speaker
• bar open until 11:00 pm
